Ever since his debut album Mickey Mouse Operation dropped in 2006, British electronic producer Laurent Clerc has been capturing ears worldwide with his music as Little People. With each release, he has consistently evolved an absorbing sound that balances glistening house rhythms with lushly textured downtempo beats, and he's built a dedicated fan base along the way. Now based in Portland, Little People released his third album Landloper earlier this year and he'll soon be touring in support of his new album, swinging through Seattle to perform at Nectar Lounge on April 5th alongside Marley Carroll and Natasha Kmeto. His exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World wonderfully captures his cerebral, groovy, and versatile style as he weaves sleek dancefloor rhythms together while also seamlessly digressing into jazz, reggae, dub, and experimental R&B territory.
