Scotland’s Primal Scream have announced that they’ll be unveiling a previously unreleased version of their 1994 album Give Out But Don’t Give Up from formerly abandoned sessions this fall. The scrapped recordings were recently found in a box in guitarist Andrew Innes’ basement. In 1993 Primal Scream originally recorded Give Out But Don't Give Up at Memphis' Ardent Studios with producer Tom Dowd and the Muscle Shoals rhythm section. The band then later remade the album with producer George Drakoulias, which is the version that was released in 1994.
Give Out But Don’t Give Up: The Original Memphis Sessions is out October 12 via Sony Music. Check out a preview on the band's Instagram account and revisit the single "Rocks" below.
