We’re a little over four weeks before Luca Gaudagnino’s remake the 1977 Dario Argento horror classic Suspiria comes to theatres. Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is helming the soundtrack for the movie, his first film score. Today, he’s shared the second song from it, titled “Has Ended.” The slow-churning track features Yorke’s voice over a sinister beat.
Yorke produced 25 new original compositions for the film, which includes “a mix of instrumental score work, interstitial pieces and interludes, and more traditional song structures featuring Thom’s vocals.” The double-album soundtrack is out Oct. 26 via XL.
Guadgnino’s Suspiria stars Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, and Jessica Harper (who starred in the 1977 original). It's due out Nov. 2 via Amazon Studios. Listen to “Has Ended” below.
The Radiohead lead singer scores his first feature film Suspiria and gives us our first look with piano ballad “Suspirium.”
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has announced a solo U.S. tour for late this fall.
Radiohead's debut might not be a fan favorite, but 25 years later it's a remarkable look back at the starting point of what would become an iconic act.
