Slippery as they are, Australian seven piece King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard managed to record six albums before before finally squeezing into the KEXP live room. Granted, it's only been three years since their debut, but as the Melbourne band are about to release their seventh (and for the first time ever, acoustic) album, Paper Maché Dream Balloon, they finally made it to Seattle to share some of their past electrified psychedelic garage jams, including the winding 10-minute song "The River" and a medley of "I'm In Your Mind" madness, complete with three guitars, two drummers, bass and a blazing harmonica.
