  • Ted Leo and Aimee Mann, aka The Both, stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers last night for a rousing rendition of "Volunteers of America" off their self-titled debut collaboration. Drummer Matt Mayhall, who you may recall from their Bumbershoot Lounge performance, joined the fun. Watch below, and keep watch on KEXP's TV Eye column to stay in the loop on these late night performances. [Pitchfork]

  • Last night, Ryan Adams covered a Bryan Adams song. Yes, you read that right. Over a decade ago, the younger Adams admitted to Spin Magazine that he had to go into therapy because of audience members yelling out requests for the elder Adams hit "Summer Of ’69." But lately, mercurial rocker Ryan has embraced his attachment to Bryan. The font on his new self-titled album, out now on Pax Am/Blue Note, even matches the font on Bryan's 1984 album, Reckless. And now this. Watch below. [Consequence of Sound]

  • New York's Big Ups share the track "Rash," another itchy hardcore track from the young punk quartet. You can find it on an upcoming split EP with Brooklyn band Washer, out November 18th on Exploding In Sound. Check out the track below, and check out the band LIVE on KEXP on Saturday, October 18th at 3:30 PM PST. [Stereogum]

  • And Los Angeles band Liars share a video today for the track "I'm No Gold" off their most recent release, Mess. As they mentioned to KEXP in their summer 2014 in-studio, they take their visuals very seriously, and today's video is no exception. Director Laurie Lynch captures anguished frontman Angus Andrew in this dramatic clip. Watch below. [Under the Radar]
