It's been pretty cold in Seattle lately, but that shouldn't stop you from going out and catching some great live shows. Starting on Monday night, Bandoliers, The Van Allen Belt, and Fey Moth are at Chop Suey. On Wednesday, Los Lobos are at Benaroya Hall. Thursday night, Yo La Tengo play one of the last shows at Easy Street Records location in Queen Anne - come down and support one of the great local record stores (and a hefty discount!). There's also a Tribute to Uncle Tupelo with Transmissionary Six, Downpilot, The Swearengens, Red Jacket Mine, Fan Fiction and Guests at Tractor Tavern. On Friday night, some great options with Hounds of the Wild Hunt and Panama Gold at Sunset Tavern, the Bay-area duo - Two Gallants are at Barboza. Davidson Hart Kingsbery, Mark Pickerel & His Praying Hands, and Jackrabbit are at Tractor Tavern, and there's also a Teenage Fanclub Tribute Night at Rendezvous. On Saturday, Andy Stott and Kid Smpl are at Crocodile, Widower, Ole Tinder, and JD Hobson Band are at Tractor Tavern, and Beck's "Song Reader" with Julia Massey, Thousands, Robb Benson, Robin Holcomb, Skerik, Maria Mannisto, Andy Coe, Carla Torgerson, Jared Cortese, Robin Holcomb, Luke Bergman and Wayne Horvitz at Royal Room. We finish the weekend with BellaMaine, US on Roofs, NudePop, and Special Explosion at Crocodile, and the 13th Annual Expansions MLK Celebration with DJ Riz, Masa and Kid Hops at Q.
