E.VAX is the solo alias of Evan Peter Mast, an American musician and producer best-known as one-half of Ratatat who's influential style touched into the electronic, rock, hip-hop, and pop worlds. First putting out his debut E.VAX album in 2000 ahead of Ratatat's debut album in 2004, Evan has gone on to collaborate with hip-hop and R&B artists like Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Nas, and Teyana Taylor while keeping the E.VAX project alive to explore an introspective, stripped-back sound. His brand new E.VAX album Just Like Fire came out on June 26th.
