DJ Sep is a long-time Bay Area DJ and producer, and the founder of Dub Mission, one of the longest-running reggae club nights in the world. A connoisseur of dub, reggae, dancehall, Jungle/DnB, Afrobeats, and more, Sep has spun at festivals and clubs in Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico, and opened up for an impressive range of legendary artists, including Lee Perry, The Scientist, Mad Professor, Sister Nancy, Toots and The Maytals, The Wailers, and more.
In regards to the stellar mix she put together to close out KEXP's Midnight in a Perfect World series for 2025, DJ Sep says: "It's impossible to make a mix that represents everything I do, so I didn't try to do that. These are simply some of my favorite dub songs, the genre I love and I’m probably best known for."
