TAMTAM are a Tokyo-based four-piece band fronted by singer, songwriter, composer, and synth player Kuro that have been making music for over a decade. Earlier this year they released their first international release with Ramble in the Rainbow, an additive 5-track EP that explores a groovy, colorful, and dreamy psych-pop sound. Released on Washington, DC-based label Peoples Potential Unlimited, it's a breakthrough release for a band that has been consistently evolving their sound ever since putting out their debut release in 2014.
Curated and mixed by TAMTAM guitarist and DJ Yuthke, their exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is equal parts trippy and groovy with selections that cruise through ambient, new age, psychedelic, Balearic, and cosmic electronic vibes.
