Baloogz is the DJ/producer alter-ego of Tacoma's Matt Clark, an integral figure in the PNW music scene. From his days working sound for Decibel Festival during its early 2010s halcyon days, to his current status as a seminal behind-the-scenes player in Tacoma's eclectic music community and a behind-the-decks party-starter DJ'ing shows in Tacoma and Seattle, Baloogz brings a joyful energy and infectious enthusiasm to all of his multifaceted endeavors. He's worked closely as a producer and recording engineer for some of Tacoma's recent breakout artists, including Enumclaw, ILLFIGHTYOU, and Perry Porter, and his collaborative spirit led him to launching Fish Tank Friends, a label/collective that showcases emerging local producers in the Tacoma and Seattle music scene.
