Rahill is a NYC-based Iranian-American singer-songwriter and founding member of Brooklyn garage-rock mainstays Habibi. With her band Habibi, Rahill garnered a reputation for alchemizing an eclectic range of influences, distilling them into captivating and heavy pop songs that gestured towards the modes and melodies of the Iranian/American household in which she was raised. These influences have seeped into her own solo music as Rahill, which she debuted in late 2022 with an EP of covers titled Sun Songs. This past May she released her debut solo album Flowers At Your Feet, an intimate and magnetic record that finds her reflecting on childhood and family, sifting through time, ultimately arriving at a state of quiet grace and self love.
Rahill's exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is an insightful exploration into her record collection as she shares influential favorites by Broadcast, Stereolab, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, The Durutti Column, and more.
