Midnight In A Perfect World: Apt E

Apt E is the collaborative project of Seattle-based friends Cameron Kelley (aka tondiue) and Maxwell Washburn. Operating as a DJ duo, a record label, and a party series, Apt E was founded in 2017 through Cameron and Maxwell's deep shared love for music of any and all kinds, and a friendship in which they motivate each other to always seek new experiences and new sounds together. Originally rooted in their successful underground parties, the two launched Apt E as a label in October 2019 with a focus on spotlighting emerging PNW artists and providing a homebase for their own expansive productions, and so far they've unveiled three hotly-tipped vinyl releases.

Aptly describing their mix as "hypnotic, oceanic, and vast," Apt E's exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight In A Perfect World is a supremely deep and dreamy journey through adventurous, psychedelic, expansive dance music.

Midnight in a Perfect World, KEXP’s weekly hour-long guest DJ show, airs Fridays at midnight. This multi-genre program features eclectic sets by a rotating cast of international and local DJ’s, each building upon a party vibe to kick off your weekend. Midnight in a Perfect World is made possible with support from New Belgium Brewing.
