Dezron Douglas and Brandee Younger are both well-established players in the expansive jazz community. Both based in Harlem, Dezron is a bassist who has played with legends such as Pharoah Sanders and Ravi Coltrane, and Brandee is a harpist who has played alongside Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Lauryn Hill, Moses Sumney, and many more. Last year they joined forces to release their debut collaborative album Force Majeure on International Anthem Records, a breakout record featuring original music and covers of songs by Kate Bush, John Coltrane, Jackson 5, and more. The album was pieced together from live-streamed performances the duo held in their apartment's living room during the COVID-19 lockdown, helping bring their music to an audience in need of healing sounds.

A beautiful journey through timeless jazz, R&B, and soul selections, Dezron & Brandee's guest DJ mix for Midnight In A Perfect World is a reflection of the kaleidoscope of sound that they both tune into on a regular basis.
