Prolific psych-sorcerers King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have released a documentary detailing the making of their 2019 album Infest the Rats’ Nest. Titled RATTY, the 30-minute film was shot and edited by John Angus Stewart and produced by PHC Films. They note the "doc shows the path of creation from gag jams to gigs and all the sweat and stink that comes with it." Check out the trailer below.
The movie is available to rent now via Vimeo here, and all proceeds will be donated to the following Indigenous charities in Australia: Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation, BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation, DJIRRA, and Indigenous Social Justice Association Melbourne.
The 2020 dates include an April 20th stop at the Moore Theatre.
Australia's King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard set themselves on fire in the new video for the track "Self-Immolate."
The song notably doesn't appear on the tracklist for the Australian band's forthcoming record Fishing For Fishies
