Gold Chisme is the alias of Seattle-based Latinx DJ and electronic producer Christine Gutierrez. Born and raised in Chicago, she was originally influenced musically by weekend cruises in her parents' car listening to Chicago house, funk, hip-hop and Latin music. As a young woman, she started singing for black metal and electronic bands, pivotal experiences that opened her up to the world of on-stage music performance. Since then, her love of music has continued to grow and expand as she's become an in-demand DJ with over ten years of experience behind the decks with past residencies at Jupiter Bar, Stayin' Alive Disco, and Runaway.
