You know winter is ending when you start to get summer festival announcements, and here's our first one: the annual Timber! Outdoor Music Festival will be held Thursday, July 16th through Saturday, July 18th at King County’s Tolt-MacDonald Park and Campground in Carnation, WA!

The line-up is sure to keep you warm during these rainy months of Spring. Two Philly-based bands are making the trek to our corner of the woods: psych-pop pros Dr. Dog and '80s-metal-tinged rockers Sheer Mag, plus L.A. garage pop trio Cherry Glazerr. Beloved local acts like Deep Sea Diver, The MoondoggiesJosiah Johnson, and Guayaba will be there.

Two very special collaborations are in the works: Northwest singer/songwriters Shelby Earl and Stephanie Anne Johnson will be teaming up at the cozy Campfire Stage and harmonizing on each other’s songs for the first time in public. And Seattle psych-rockers Tres Leches will collaborate with Buenos Aires-born, Seattle-based duo Terror/Cactus for an exciting Latin-fused set.

More fun is planned with a Simon & Garfunkel Campfire Sing-A-Long, led by Navid Elliot (Planes on Paper, Bodies on the Beach) and an assortment of guest performers from the Timber! Lineup. For the first time in the fest's history, there will be a Sunday Brunch at Pete’s Club Grill, the 1st Ashley Memorial Seattle to Timber! Bike Ride, and a Bat Viewing & Listening Party with Bats Northwest. And, of course, you can count on their usual  "Adventures", including kayaking, nature painting, paddle boarding, a camp kitchen, stargazing, yoga, s'mores, and more.

Passes are on sale now at summer.timbermusicfest.com. Check out some past in-studio sessions from bands on the line-up below, and start looking ahead to sunnier days in Carnation, WA.
