Kassa Overall is a Seattle-raised artist currently based in Brooklyn who recently signed to legendary DJ Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings label for the release of his new sophomore album titled I Think I'm Good. The album mixes hip-hop and jazz in a bold and exuberant fashion while lyrically detailing his experiences with mental illness, America's abhorrent prison system, the trials and tribulations of romantic relationships, and the perils of trust, all seen through the kaleidoscopic lens of a brilliant 21st century composer.
For his exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World, Kassa says: "I wanted to let you know that these are almost all remixes that I made for this show and the set features many Seattle artists new and old!"
