Car Seat Headrest returns this spring with the album Making A Door Less Open. We've already heard the track “Can’t Cool Me Down”, and today, we've got the single "Martin" (most likely not written about KEXP's beloved Content Producer and Throwaway Style columnist Martin Douglas, but we can dream). Songwriter Will Toledo declares the track one of the favorite songs he’s ever written.
Check out the song via different platforms here and watch the lyric video below, where Toledo's new alter-ego TRAIT tackling the dishes. (More on the new identity here.)
Making A Door Less Open will be out May 1 via Matador, and he will (hopefully!) be playing a hometown show on July 11th at the Paramount. Check out the complete tour schedule below.

For their third album for Matador Records, Car Seat Headrest revise their 2011 opus. In doing so, they transform what was already an ambitious, weighty album into an emotionally exhausting masterpiece.
