Since the release of their debut single in December 2018, Polish production duo Gaijin Blues have been paving a unique lane in the world of psychedelic dancefloor grooves with their kaleidoscopic and transportive sound. Driven by an obsession with Japanese pop culture and hypnotic RPG soundtracks, they released their debut full-length album this past November on London-based label Shapes of Rhythm and have recently been invited to open up live shows for Romare, Anchorsong, Actress, and Amon Tobin. Their exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is a perfect reflection of their colorful influences as they mix together songs from classic video games, obscure underground rhythms, iconic Japanese pop, and four songs from their own blossoming catalog for a trippy and playful sonic journey.
