Dot is the alias of producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Kate Ellwanger. Born and raised in Olympia, she moved down to Southern California at the age of 17 to study music and was soon heavily immersed in the LA beat scene, releasing her debut album on Alpha Pup Records in 2013 and becoming a member of the Los Angeles beat collective Team Supreme. In 2017 she launched the womxn-focused music label Unspeakable Records, providing a platform that champions often unsung womxn electronic producers. Amidst her busy touring schedule and continued academic studies, she released her third full-length album Atomic Age earlier this summer.
