What do you think a Vampire Weekend taco would taste like? I was expecting more of an African influence (ahem), but instead you get a veggie fajita taco featuring shiitake mushrooms, red and yellow bell peppers, guacamole, cotija cheese, and fresh cilantro, wrapped into an organic corn tortilla.

This exclusive collaboration with Los Angeles-based kitchen HomeState is all to benefit the Los Angeles branch of PATH (People Assisting the Homeless). The signature $5 taco will be available starting today through the end of October.

Vampire Weekend mark the third band to design their own taco; both Spoon and Best Coast have previously collaborated with HomeState.
