Plaid is the innovative and influential UK duo comprised of Ed Handley and Andy Turner. Originally founding members of pioneering electronic outfit The Black Dog in the late 1980s, the pair formed Plaid in 1991 and quickly released their debut album Mbuki Mvuki. Now nearly 30 years into their career, Plaid just released their 10th album Polymer on their longtime label Warp Records.
Their exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is a brain-tickling journey through sophisticated electronic sounds both new and old, as it jumps from skittering IDM and cerebral techno rhythms into atmospheric ambient and blissful abstract territory.
