As the bard Rob Thomas once said, "Man, it's a hot one." Capitol Hill Block Party has been a scorcher in two senses. Beyond just the literal heat, the artists on the lineup for this year's little neighborhood gathering have really brought the heat. From JPEGMAFIA's mosh-pit kicking off the festival and Mitski's avant garde table-performance through Perry Porter's paint party and – of course – Lizzo, there's been plenty to keep festival-goers braving the temperatures for stellar music. KEXP has been stationed up at Retro Fit Home on the festival grounds while our photographers have captured some of these electric moments.
