Boogarins are a Brazilian psych-pop outfit formed by longtime friends Fernando “Dino” Almeida and Benke Ferraz. They began playing music together as teenagers in the central Brazilian city of Goiânia, releasing their debut LP 'As Plantas Que Curam' in 2013 and quickly attracting a growing fanbase and in-demand touring schedule.
Now a four-piece, they've since released a couple more albums, received Latin Grammy Award nominations, and stopped by KEXP for a live in-studio performance on El Sonido back on May 10th, 2016. Earlier this month, they released their new full-length album 'Sombrou Dúvida' and put together a rare DJ mix to celebrate the occasion.
