With El Sonido, KEXP has a space every Monday dedicated to spreading Ibero-American music. Three hours a week is not enough so we decided to summon some of the best representatives in different cities of Latin America, Spain, and the United States to curate playlists with emerging and essential artists from their countries so we can discover more.
Aarin Wright is a music publicist and journalist who has worked in the Pacific Northwest scene for nearly five years. She currently acts as the hype woman at Nectar Lounge, a local Seattle venue which has hosted major artists from all across the globe. In the past she hosted "El Latido" on KUGS 89.3, and can be found promoting bands, concerts and festivals in the Seattle area.
