Hallelujah! Chance the Rapper will be releasing a new album this year! Three years after his last solo album, Coloring Book, Chance has announced that a new album will be arriving this July. By only subtly tweeting the word “July” but then confirming in an Instagram video that yes, it was new music that would be arriving in July followed up by his manager Pat straightforwardly tweeting: “CHANCE ALBUM. JULY,” it seems rather official. Of course, plans change and things get delayed but, for now, this seems like a solid plan.

Since Coloring Book, Chance has dropped the Christmas-themed Jeremih collaborations Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama in 2016 and Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama: Re-Wrapped in 2017. He’s also shared a few one-off singles including “Work Out,” “My Own Thing,” and “The Man Who Has Everything.” Listen to the latter below.
