Formed back in 1999 by founding member and current ringleader Jason Swinscoe, The Cinematic Orchestra are one of the most revered British acts of the 21st century. Originally pioneers of the blossoming downtempo and trip-hop wave at the turn of the millennium, The Cinematic Orchestra continue to explore an emotionally rich sonic landscape that defies easy genre categorization. Earlier this year they released the album To Believe, their 4th studio album and their first in over a decade. Ahead of their stop in Seattle at the Neptune Theatre on Monday, November 18th, they share an exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World that's a perfectly dreamy nocturnal journey as they weave through new and old favorites that touch upon soul, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, psychedelic, and electronic styles.
