Earlier this month, Perfume Genius premiered The Sun Still Burns Here, his collaboration with Seattle choreographer Kate Wallich and her dance company the YC. We've already heard the track “Eye in the Wall”, and as the show makes its way to runs in New York, Minneapolis, and Boston later this year, today, he shares the single “Pop Song.”
While not exactly what one would think of a "pop song," the track is the poppiest of all the pieces he wrote for the show, which tend to be more atmospheric rather than traditional.

Perfume Genius’ Mike Hadreas will be collaborating with Seattle choreographer Kate Wallich on a new contemporary dance and live music performance piece. Set to debut at the Moore Theatre Oct. 4-5, the piece is titled The Sun Still Burns Here.
