Glasgow trio CHVRCHES return with their first new music since last year's LP Love Is Dead. Alas, it's just one single, but it's worth the wait. Check out the track “Death Stranding” below, written for the upcoming Playstation 4 video game, Death Stranding: Timefall.

In a press release, the band expressed excitement to work with game director Hideo Kojima:

“We were really excited about the opportunity to work with Kojima because we have been fans of his work for a long time. He has always been such a visionary in the gaming world and we were honoured to be involved in the project. The concept of ‘Death Stranding’ is so unique and really felt to us like it was challenging people to care about the world they create — in the game and otherwise.”

A soundtrack for the game will be released November 7th via Sony/RCA and also features tracks from Major Lazer & Khalid, Au/Ra x Alan Walker, and more. This isn't the first time CHVRCHES' music has been used in a video game: you can also hear them in Forza Horizon 4, 3, & 2Grand Theft Auto V, and Mirror's Edge Catalyst, to name a few.
