Carnival Bahidorá 2019, a ritual that celebrates the music of the world.
The seventh edition of this festival will be held on February 15, 16 and 17, 2019 in Las Estacas, Morelos (Mexico), which works as a musical map to stimulate harmony and creativity. During the three days artistic projects, bands, DJs and musical collectives will camp in a Mexican paradise with visitors from all over the world who come to discover new music every year.
Las Estacas is a gorgeous location, a natural water park that belongs to the Sierra de Montenegro state ecological reserve. From there gushes the Yautepec River; a natural spring with crystalline water rich in minerals, which nourishes the exuberant vegetation of the place. At Carnival of Bahidorá, in addition to five stages, the festival-goers will have access to art, an island dedicated to meditation, sounds and yoga, forums and discussions on creative industries and entertainment, spa and camp included.
Bahidorá has become one of the most anticipated events in Latin America and El Sonido will be present in its 2019 edition. We’re so excited to be there for the experience and the great, eclectic line up. We’ve put together a video collection of some of the great artists on the bill as a warm-up.
Carnaval de BAHIDORÁ 2019, un ritual que celebra las músicas del mundo.
El 15, 16 y 17 de febrero de 2019 en Las Estacas, Morelos (México) se realizará la séptima edición de este encuentro que funciona a modo de mapa musical para estimular la armonía y creatividad. Durante las tres jornadas proyectos artísticos, bandas, djs y colectivos musicales acamparán en un paraíso mexicano con visitantes de todo el mundo que se acercan a descubrir nueva música todos los años.
No por nada se realiza en Las Estacas, un parque acuático natural que pertenece a la reserva ecológica estatal Sierra de Montenegro. De allí brota el río Yautepec; un manantial natural con agua cristalina rica en minerales, que nutre a la exuberante vegetación del lugar. En Carnaval de Bahidorá además de cinco escenarios temáticos, el público tendrá circuitos con instalaciones artísticas, una isla dedicada a la meditación, los sonidos y el yoga, foros y conversatorios sobre industrias creativas y del entretenimiento, spa y campamento incluído.
