After five years of waiting, Jenny Lewis is finally releasing a new solo album titled On the Line. Today, she’s announced the record will drop March 22 via Warner Bros. Lewis has also shared the list of 11 tracks that make up the album as well as the jangly lead single, “Red Bull & Hennessy.” As she did with 2014’s The Voyager, the album art features a photo of Lewis’ torso, this time garbed in an ornately sequined blue outfit.
On the Line was recorded at Capitol Records’ Studio B with a star-studded backing band made up of Ryan Adams, Beck, and The Heartbreakers’ Benmont Tench. Also joining the former Rilo Kiley frontwoman in the studio were producer Don Was, Jim Keltner, and Ringo Starr. Lewis is embarking on an extensive tour behind the album in March, with a date in Seattle on Tuesday, May 21 at the Moore Theatre.
