Last month, electronic noise outfit HEALTH announced their first album in four years, VOL. 4 :: SLAVES OF FEAR. The record is described as the band’s “heaviest, most genre-obliterating album” and is due out Feb. 8, 2019 via Loma Vista Recordings. Today, they’ve shared the second single off the album, “Strange Days (1999),” a hypnotically heavy industrial track via a video of a copy machine continuously printing a missing person flyer featuring the same phone number that appeared in the video for lead single “Slaves of Fear" - (213) 259-3841. Turns out, the number directly connects you to the band (seriously!).
VOL. 4 :: SLAVES OF FEAR follows 2015’s Death Magic and was produced by frequent collaborator Lars Stalfors (St. Vincent, Lil Peep). HEALTH will tour extensively behind the new album, with a stop in Seattle on Sunday, April 14 at Neumos.
