We’ve been on the edge of our seats, waiting for Aphex Twin to finally release whatever he’s been teasing for the past week via mysterious billboards and logos placed strategically in London, Los Angeles, Turin, and New York. Today, the wait is finally over. Richard D. James has officially announced the Collapse EP, due for release Sept. 14 via Warp Records. He’s also shared the first single from the five-track EP, “T69 Collapse.” The song comes with a feverish video by Weirdcore. The video was initially intended to be premiered on Adult Swim last night but was pulled because it failed the epilepsy test. Take that as a warning before watching the video below.
