Perpetually sunglass-donned Los Angeles musician Colleen Green is releasing a vinyl reissue of her 2016 cassette EP that she’s calling Casey’s Tape / Harmontown Loops. The EP’s original songs have been newly recorded plus there are an additional four previously unreleased tracks. Previously, she shared the single “Let Go” and today, we’ve received another new song called “I Wanna Be Ignored.”
The single diverges heavily from Green’s typical minimalist material, going into full-fledged disco at moments. Green told Billboard that the song about disillusionment that was written as background music for the Starburns Audio podcast Harmontown. Casey’s Tape / Harmontown Loops is out September 7 via Nashville label Infinity Cat.
