On top of fronting Dinosaur Jr., who’s going on tour with Mastodon this fall, the musician has announced today that he’ll be releasing a new solo album titled Elastic Days. The record follows 2014’s Tied To A Star and will drop November 9 via Sub Pop. Mascis has also shared the first taste of the album with the single “See You At The Movies.”

Elastic Days features cameos from Black Heart Procession’s Pall Jenkins, Miracle Legion’s Mark Mulcahy, and Luluc’s Zoë Randell and was recorded at Mascis’ Bisquiteen studio in Massachusetts. A tour behind Elastic Days will take place early November with a stop in Seattle on Friday, November 9 at the Tractor Tavern.
