Dirty Projectors announced earlier this week that they'll be embarking on a major international tour and today a video has appeared on the Dirty Projectors Instagram page that seems to be teasing new music via Instagram. The Dave Longstreth-focused footage features a previously unheard song, with the words "Lamplit Prose" flashing at the end. Dirty Projectors released a self-titled album last year and then a remixes EP. The band will be in Seattle on Thursday, June 21 to play the Crocodile. [ Pitchfork ]

Two months ago The Decemberists shared the lead single from their forthcoming album I'll Be Your Girl, "Severed." It showed a remarkably new sound from their previous seven albums, taking inspiration from Roxy Music and New Order. Today, they've shared the second single, "Once In My Life." Colin Meloy said of the new direction, "When you’ve been a band for 17 years, inevitably there are habits you fall into. So our ambition this time was really just to get out of our comfort zone. That’s what prompted working with a different producer and using a different studio. We wanted to free ourselves from old patterns and give ourselves permission to try something different.” I'll Be Your Girl is out Friday, March 16 on Capitol. The Decemberists will play the Paramount Theatre on Thursday, June 21. [ Consequence of Sound ]

Yesterday, Compton rapper Vince Staples addressed his haters by launching a "Get the Fuck Off My Dick" campaign on GoFundMe, making the promise of shutting "the fuck up forever" if the campaign raised $2 million. Today, he's shared the single "Get the Fuck Off My Dick" and launched getthefuckoffmydick.com, which directs to various platforms streaming the track. It's the first release from Staples since last year's Big Fish Theory. [ The Fader ]

The recently prolific Shamir has surprise released a new album called Resolution along with the previously announced 7" EP Room. The Las Vegas native only just released a new album, Revelations, last November and Hope in April.Resolution contains eight brand new songs, while Room features the title track on the A-side and "Caballero" on the B-side. Shamir and Mac DeMarco are releasing a joint 7" on Record Store Day, April 21. [ Under the Radar ]
