Will Wiesenfeld has unveiled a dreamy new Baths single titled “Clarence Difference.” Delivered via coffee subscription service YES PLZ on flexi-disc, the song is a lyric-less piano-based swirling beauty. The flexi-disc is the second from YES PLZ, who include a weekly music zine with every shipment of their coffee. It’s a neat idea! This shipment’s zine will include features on “avant-garde bassist Sam Wilkes; DJ royalty Tom Schnabel on the Algerian genre Raï; Native American indie rocker Black Belt Eagle Scout; an exclusive musical treat from beat scene favorite Baths; and more.”
Wiesenfeld’s last Baths full-length was 2017’s Romaplasm. In October, he released the latest Geotic record, Traversa via Ghostly International. Below, listen to “Clarence Difference” and check out the cover for Issue 005.
