New Zealand musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords have shared a new song called “Father and Son.” The single comes from Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie’s recent HBO special Flight of the Conchords: Live in London recorded at the Eventim Apollo. The comedic song starts out rather touching, telling the story of a father and son and their relationship but it quickly takes a turn when the boy’s mother and her new boyfriend Trevor get involved in the story.

In September, the duo performed “Father and Son” on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Flight of the Conchords’ last album was 2009’s I Told You I Was Freaky. You can watch Flight of the Conchords: Live at the London Apollo on HBO’s streaming services. Listen to “Father and Son” below.
