Imogen Heap has announced she will be touring the U.S. for the first time in nine years. Today, she added nine dates to her Mycelia World Tour that kicks off April 28 in Miami, Florida and wraps June 8 in San Francisco, California. Thankfully, a stop in Seattle is included on Wednesday, June 5 at the Moore Theatre.
The Mycelia World Tour is a multimedia concert that includes talks and workshops showcasing Mycelia’s “Creative Passport,” a “research and development hub whose mission, through technology, is to bring to life a music maker database which will help realize a fair, sustainable and vibrant music ecosystem.” Specifically, Mycelia “enables quick and easy direct payments to simplify and democratize collaboration from meaningful commercial partnerships to creativity,” per a press release. The tour will also include performances by Frou Frou, seeing Heap team up with Guy Sigsworth as Frou Frou for the first time since 2003.
