Eyedress is the solo alias of Filipino singer, musician, and producer Idris Vicuña. Idris was born in the city of Makati in the Philippines, and he spent major parts of his childhood in Arizona and California before his family moved back to the Philippines when he was 15 years old. His interest in DIY bedroom recording techniques birthed the solo project Eyedress in 2012 as an outlet to explore his own genre-blending pop experiments. Now signed to UK label Lex Records, he just released his 4th full-length album titled Sensitive G, a deeply personal record that reflects on the joys and pain of his life in Manila told through the musical styles he was influenced by growing up in the US: R&B, dream-pop, indie rock, punk rock, and G-funk.
