Early next month, Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror film Suspiria is coming to theatres and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is scoring the film. Previously, he’s shared two tracks from the score, “Suspirium” and “Has Ended” and today we now have a third. “Volk” is completely instrumental and probably the creepiest to date.
Gaudagnino has previously said this about Suspiria’s soundtrack. “Thom, myself and my editor Walter Fasano spoke at length about a score that sounded in line with the sound of the times, 1970s Europe. Thom really enjoyed working with electronic music and contemporary classical sounds, two different musical worlds. All the songs from Thom are originals for the movie.”
“Volk” comes with an abstract video of human figures and endless tunnels. Watch it below. The Suspiria soundtrack is out October 26 via XL. Suspiria is in theaters November 2.
"Has Ended" is off Yorke's score for Luca Gaudagnino’s remake the 1977 Dario Argento horror classic Suspiria
