Kikagaku Moyo is a Tokyo-based band that has been captivating ears worldwide over the past 5 years with their mind-bending psychedelic rock. They began as buskers on the streets of Tokyo before gaining traction in the city's experimental scene. The band's self-titled debut was released in 2013 and they gained more exposure in the U.S. thanks to their 2014 album 'Forest Of Lost Children,' released on Brooklyn label Beyond Beyond Is Beyond Records. Fresh off performing a live in-studio session at KEXP earlier this summer, they just released their fourth full-length album 'Masana Temples' on October 5th via their own label, Guruguru Brain. In celebration of their new album, they put together an exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World and it's a hypnotic and enveloping journey through some of their favorite songs spanning psychedelic rock, drone rock, acid folk, and anything that boldly lives on the outer fringes of rock music.
