Back in the day, before KEXP was on the Seattle Center campus, we would hold annual "secret" intimate performances from the Charlotte Martin Theatre during the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival. Nowadays, we have a spacious Gathering Space where pass holders can come see artists like Moon Duo, Crater, and The Maldives, and a lucky few can watch sessions with Conor Oberst and Filthy Friends from the Viewing Space (details on those sets here), but we couldn't help but reminisce on some music lounge highlights. From the yodeling of Mac DeMarco to the fancy footwork of Charles Bradley, here are just a few favorite sessions below:
