  • Get ready, Seattle. Radiohead play a sold out show next door to the station at Key Arena this Saturday. And last night, at Kansas City, MO’s Sprint Center, they dug out the track "Where I End and You Begin" for the first time in nine years. Watch fan shot footage of them performing the Hail to the Thief track below. Earlier on the tour, they excavated the OK Computer single "The Tourist," which had also been dormant since 2008. Time will tell what treats Seattle is in store for. (And don't forget: 10 Barrel Brewing and KEXP will be hosting a pre-funk party with a mini beer garden in the Courtyard next to KEXP and Key Arena, 11 AM to 4 PM, 21+. 10 Barrel Brewing will be sampling beer and KEXP's DJ Morgan will be playing Radiohead-inspired music during this free and open-to-the-public event!) • Meanwhile, on this Friday night, Seattle's own Pearl Jam will be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in a ceremony in Brooklyn. (Follow KEXP on Twitter and Instagram as KEXP's own DJ Troy Nelson reports live from the event!) Before the big event, they've shared this cover of a fellow local artist, Brandi Carlile. Hear their version of her track "Again Today" below, which will appear on the covers compilation Telling Stories, out 5/5 on Legacy. Others on the album include Adele, Jim James, Margo Price, and Kris Kristofferson performing tracks from her 2007 album The Story. All proceeds will go to the UK charity War Child, and Barack Obama wrote the foreword. [ Stereogum ]

  • Madchester compatriots unite! The Charlatans (better known as The Charlatans UK to us, thanks to a '60s band who had already used the name) return next month with their thirteenth album, Different Days. And the lead track (which you can stream below) features guests Johnny Marr of The Smiths and Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre. In a press release, Marr simply says, "It was an honor to be asked, I love the boys." More LP guests include Paul Weller, crime writer Ian Rankin, and writer/actress Sharon Horgan -- don't ask how, we'll all find out May 26th when the new album is out on BMG. [ Under the Radar ]

  • Speaking of awesome guests, Gorillaz have released a new track today featuring Pusha T and Mavis Staples. It's now the fifth track the animated band have shared from their forthcoming album, Humanz, out April 28th via Warner Bros. [ Stereogum ]
