Carla dal Forno is an Australian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently based in Berlin. Beginning in underground groups F Ingers, Tarcar, and Mole House, Carla has emerged as a distinctive solo artist, releasing her critically-acclaimed solo debut album You Know What It's Like in 2016 on the revered label Blackest Ever Black. This past October she unveiled The Garden EP, providing another strong showcase of her singular sound that confidently blends gloomy No Wave, skeletal synth-pop, and evocative art-pop. Her exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is a captivating journey through her seemingly deep vinyl collection, unearthing a multitude of obscure 80s gems and fuzzy nuggets, while sneaking in a pair of her own tracks along the way. It's a wonderful peak into the underground music scene of years past, and largely-forgotten artists that have proven influential to Carla's own aesthetic.
