  • Electronic music icon Moby has been keeping busy with his mysterious new project, Void Pacific Choir. They've been slowly sharing songs online, and today, we get a windfall with three new tracks, playing in the background of the video below. All songs will be included on the release, These Systems Are Failing, which doesn't have a specific release date yet, but will be out "soon." [Stereogum]

  • Soulful singer/songwriter Jamie Lidell has a new one coming out next month, Building a Beginning, his first album since his self-titled 2013 release. Check out a video for the first single, "Walk Right Back," below. Director Leo Lyxxx describes the clip as, "an abstract illustration of a conversation between artist and director about a child's first memories in the world and the sensory experiences surrounding." Building a Beginning hits stores on October 14th release via Lidell's own label, Jajulin. [Under the Radar]

  • While we'd really rather he get back to My Bloody Valentine, guitar god Kevin Shields has shared a remix of The Undertones 1979 single "Get Over You." No shoegaze here, it's the energetic pop-punk you'd expect from the legendary band. Shields' remix will be included on a 7" single included with the 40th anniversary reissues of the band's first two albums, the self-titled album and Hypnotised. Both hit the stores on October 7th. • UK group Bloc Party just released a new album earlier this year, but they're already sharing new tracks on top of that. Check out the single "Stunt Queen" below, written and recorded by all four members. Frontman Kele Okereke says, via a press release: "'Stunt Queen' has its genesis in an idea that dates back to the Australian tour we did at the start of 2016. It was an idea that we worked on at sound checks and was one of the first ideas to come along after Justin and Louise joined the band. Playing the Hollywood Bowl feels like a significant milestone for the band, and we wanted to mark it with a new release. We’re excited to be playing our biggest ever headline gig in the U.S. and releasing new material in the same week." In case you didn't catch that, the band are playing the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 25th. [Pitchfork]
