The White Stripes, Dead Weather, The Raconteurs... that Jack White has been recording music with lots of different projects over the years. And, you can check out unplugged versions of his songs on the career-spanning collection Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016, out later this month. As an example, check out the stripped-down rendition of The Raconteurs' track "Carolina Drama" off 2008's Consolers of the Lonely below. Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016 will be released September 9th via his own Third Man Records (natch) on limited edition blue vinyl, and later that same night, he'll be a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Last month, we shared the news that Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have a new album on the way, and today, you get a sneak peek with the track "Jesus Alone." The absolutely haunting track will appear on the band's sixteenth album, Skeleton Tree, out September 9th via their own Bad Seed Ltd. The night before, Thursday, September 8th, the band premieres the feature film One More Time With Feeling, a 3-D film directed by Andrew Dominik featuring interviews and live footage. Here in Seattle, it will be screening at the SIFF Cinema Uptown -- stay tuned to the KEXP blog for more details on its debut. [Stereogum]

More new music from forthcoming full-lengths: Run the Jewels unleash the fantastically-titled track "Panther Like A Panther (I’m The Shit)." The single is slated for Run the Jewels 3, but can be heard now via video game trailer for Gears of War 4, so you'll need to ignore the violent noises to hear the music. No release date for 3 yet, but maybe we'll get some new songs when Killer Mike and El-P hit Bumbershoot this weekend. [Pitchfork]

The video for Mark Pritchard's track "Beautiful People" features none other than beautiful person Thom Yorke, whose visage is projected onto the face of a masked man wandering around a snowy landscape. The eerie clip was directed by Polish filmmaker Michał Marczak, and originally debuted at the Sundance Film Fesitval, but is now online via Vevo. [Pitchfork]
