This year, KEXP partnered with Seattle Foundation to relaunch and expand the impact of the KEXP Community Partnership Program to achieve a new level of public engagement, awareness, and support for local nonprofits. For this round, organization selections were made from smaller nonprofit organizations whose budget is under $2 million per year, and whose work centers on civic engagement, specifically voter turnout, registration, and assisting communities that are underrepresented in participating in the democratic process.
Our committee members were in awe of the organizations who applied and the many great causes they support. From those organizations, our selection committee selected Latino Community Fund of Washington and Open Doors for Multicultural Families as two of the organizations to participate in the first quarter of KEXP and Seattle Foundation’s Community Partnership Program. We are very happy to support both of them through this concert.
Please go to our partnership page for more information on the CPP program.
