The Acid are an international trio comprised of British DJ/producer Adam Freeland, California producer/composer Steve Nalepa and LA-based Australian vocalist Ry X. The haunting style of eclectic post-dubstep electro-pop found on their 2014 debut album, Liminal, quickly became a KEXP favorite and led to a stunning KEXP in-studio session last fall that showcased their mature, confident, and diverse sound. Accomplished DJs and taste-makers individually and collectively, their exclusive mix for Midnight In A Perfect World is bookended by two of their own songs and packed with seamlessly mixed underground dancefloor gems with a most hypnotic and atmospheric touch.
