  • Northwest artist Zola Jesus returns with a new EP later this month titled Nail, featuring the track of the same name from last year's full-length Taiga. The mini-release also features the previously-unreleased track "Circles." Stream the moody, atmospheric track below: [Under the Radar]

  • In one of the most exciting collaborations of the year, rapper Big Boi of Outkast has teamed up with New York duo Phantogram for the project Big Grams. Their full-length album hits stores September 25th via Epic Records, but you can get a sneak peek with the track "Fell in the Sun" below: [Consequence of Sound]

  • Canadian post-punk quartet Viet Cong share a video for the track "Bunker Buster" off their excellent self-titled debut. The clip, directed by Yoonha Park, is an eerie sci-fi-inspired trip.   • Guitar god Kurt Vile takes off for an animated dreamworld in his new video for the track "Life Like This," from the album b'lieve i'm goin down..., out September 25th on Matador. Director Adam Avilla said via a press release that the song is "a story about getting at the heart of inspiration and the surreal disjointed journey that the pursuit entails," adding "I feel that artists of all disciplines can relate to such a notion of getting pleasantly (or sometimes unpleasantly) lost in your own thoughts, and from them reap inspiration for our best work."
